Frequently Asked Questions

Theatre Vacations Questions and Answers

Is the Canadian border open?
The Canadian border has been open since August 2021 and NO TEST IS REQUIRED FOR FULLY VACCINATED TRAVELLERS.

What do I need to enter Canada as an American citizen?
You will need to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID and fill out an online from called ArriveCAN. ArriveCAN is essentially like an enhanced customs declaration form which can be submitted using an app on a mobile device or printed off a desktop computer. This may be eliminated later this year.

What happens when I arrive in Canada?
You will be asked to provide your passport and ArriveCAN information. There is a slim possibility that you may have to take a random COVID test but you do not have to wait for your results and can continue on your way.

Do I have to quarantine?
Fully vaccinated travelers to Canada are not required to quarantine.

What about the unvaccinated?
Although it is possible, it is much more difficult to come to Canada without the vaccine.

Will I be billed immediately after submitting my card?
No, you will not. Submission of your card is your permission to manually bill you once we reconfirm availability for all items in your package.

What about deposits and cancellation policies?
For theatre packages, your deposit will be 50% of your total package and your balance will be billed at 30 days unless otherwise stated. For all other packages, you will be billed a portion as a deposit which typically ranges from $250 to the price of one group member’s package. Cancellation policies are in effect and this information will be provided with your initial quotation.

Will my package price change if I delay booking after receiving the initial quotation?
For the most part, we will always honor your original price but if we cannot secure availability for your initial request, the price may be subject to change.

When is the best time to travel in Ontario and Quebec?
The best months in terms of weather are from Early May until October. Late June to Early September typically have higher rates. Some people travel in the winter as there is always something to do.

Are there restrictions in Ontario and Quebec?
All restrictions including indoor masking will be eliminated on March 21 in Ontario and mid-April in Quebec

What if everything closes down and I have already paid for my trip in full?
If we are unable to deliver what we promised due to government mandated shutdowns, we will help you find an alternative. If everything is closed down, you will receive a full refund and our cancellation policies will become null and void.
